Hey everyone, welcome to Pink Shade. It's Tuesday. It's the first day of November. Clear

in my throat for the month ahead. Yeah. It is, um, it's spooky season is officially

over, which is kind of crazy. Thank God. Really? I enjoy spooky season. I, we had trick-or-treaters

last night. Dr. Erin went trick-or-treating. She was dressed up as a hot dog. She also ate

a hot dog for lunch yesterday for hot lunch. Uh-huh. And her classmates were calling her

a cannibal, which she enjoyed. Oh, um, well, that's pretty funny and pretty smart for 12

people. And she was, I know, she's a hot dog eating a hot dog. I'm like, hmm, did I get a picture?

She's like, no cell phones allowed. I'm like, all right, geez. Just asking. It was, it was

really, it was really fun last night, though. This was the first night in the Madison area

in a very long time. Well, you know, COVID just shut down everything for, you know, all trick-or-treating

stuff for a while, too. But first time in a long time that the kids did not have to wear

full parkas and North Face snow pants and things over and under their costumes. Yeah. Yeah.

It gets real cold real quick where you are for us. It was like a balmy 65. Yeah. People

weren't even in a light jacket. Yeah. It was really nice here last night. It reminded

me of the South Central Pennsylvania Halloween that I used to enjoy where we didn't have to

wear tons of jackets and stuff. But here it's just a given. I mean, we went trick-or-treating

a few years ago in the literal snow. And I'm talking like a dusting of snow. It was

like a foot of snow. It was a weird crackpot early snow storm. Yeah. Happened. I mean,

nobody, there were leaves on the ground and then snow fell right on top of them. No,

is that kind of deal? Yeah. The kids were all out in snow boots. It looked like Christmas.

We're like trick-or-treat. We're like Christmas. I know. Did you guys get any kiddos?

We didn't get a one. And like I said, we never do. And that's fine. Grinch over here is
