Where he's been meets the group chat type of process and laugh at the biggest topics in US news and

politics. Before we get started with our conversation today, we're going to play my interview

yesterday afternoon with Dr. Vivek Murthy, the surgeon general of the United States. Of course,

we talk about how he would react to anti-vaxxers if he had a finstuh. I said the word finstuh,

he had definitely heard it before. So he knew exactly what I was talking about and he gave an

excellent answer. He talked about how safe vaccinated people are right now. We talked about,

you know, vaccinated people feeling a sense of unease and safety and he really clarified that.

And why he still sees the light at the end of the COVID tunnel. I found this to be an

encouraging conversation. Such a privilege to be able to chat with him. So please listen to that

I'm glad we're doing this as well. Yeah. So our listeners and people across the country are,

frankly, they're a little, they're worried. They've done what they feel they can to turn a corner

in this pandemic right as some areas are experiencing hospital volumes they hadn't seen before.

I am sure there are a lot of things keeping you up at night. One of them I'm guessing is Florida

where earlier this week we heard that 10,000 people had been hospitalized for COVID-19. Just

at numbers that we had not seen. We know that vaccination rates aren't as good as they could be
