recent political upheavals in the US, I want to give a shout out to a listener whose question we

actually read out at the end of the last podcast, which was on pain and suffering. It was a very

sad and desperate plea, really, from someone for whom their life circumstances had led them

to a point where they actually said, I wish I didn't exist anymore. Anyway, that person

heard the show got in touch soon after to actually say this. They say, you addressed my question

on your most recent episode with NT Write on pain and suffering. I sent in that question

some months ago and it was surreal hearing it read back to me through the podcast. I'm so grateful

and honoured for your time and advice. I thought that maybe you'd like an update on where I am today.

I stopped drinking shortly after I wrote you that question and started seeing a therapist

about two months ago. Through tragic events of a loved one passing away, it made me realise that

I need to be more present with my family and get my life in order. You and NT Write's advice

was very wise and much appreciated. In a way, it was confirmation for me that what I had already

implemented was a good step forward. I can absolutely make this email a lot longer than it should

be, but I think all in all, what I wanted to let you and NT Write know is that I'm doing well
