I can't stop thinking about that now that Christmas is approaching.

And it has been a crazy last few weeks.

I have not published a podcast episode, I believe, since the end of November.

So it's almost been a month since our last podcast episode.

I apologize to you guys for my lack of consistency

in that regard. But I don't know what it is. Once December first hits, or I guess I should say,

once Thanksgiving hits, everything as far as work seems to like really, really slow down.

Maybe not slow down. Slow down is a bad word. But work seems to kind of become

an afterthought to getting ready for the holidays. Because you take that Thanksgiving break,

you know, maybe you take Thursday, Friday off. You kind of get back into it on Monday, Tuesday,

but by then it's December. And for me, December means the beginning of the beginning of

December means my wife's birthday. And then it means, you know, getting ready for Christmas. My son's

birthday is around Christmas. And having three little kids now, there's always something going on.

Like we're going to see lights. We're going to the Polar Express, there's other things

that we got going on. There's parties with friends, parties for church, there's all sorts of

different things happening around this time. There's actually a funny meme I saw on Instagram.

You've probably seen one similar that says we've officially reached the time of the year where every day costs $427.

And it's so funny.

I feel like that's totally true.

It seems like almost every day of the week, it's either a night out doing some event party thing or you're buying another gift, another present for someone in the family or a kid or,
