Jim and I worked together in the behavioral analysis unit for 10 years and I'm really looking forward to this

discussion today with our special guest. I am Renee Williams and I am the

Executive Director of the National Center for Victims of Crime.

I don't know, but I guess they just needed a loud mouth Clemente, something like that, right?

Every so often we get lucky with our board members. You were one of the lucky picks. I don't know about that. But thank you for coming, Renee.

Absolutely. I'm really looking forward to this discussion because I don't have much familiarity with the National Center for Victims of Crime.

So I'm just really excited to learn about it.

What prompted the organization and what the mission is and this very I think

important and handy guide that we're going to be discussing today for the

media.

Well I am excited to be here and it's actually an interesting story in how we got

started and I think podcast listeners will love it.

We actually were founded 40 years ago by one of the families that was really involved in one of the first true crime cases that took America by storm and that was the sunny Vambulow case and when I say that some people look at me blankly for a little bit and then the bells start to ring.
