The The Oh, I can probably tell you now the worst job that I ever did and it was during a period of striking right and it was back in the

80s probably I was in America and I'd come back to Britain for some reason or

other I can't remember why. But there was a strike on one of the papers.

Right. I'm not going to tell you which one. And I went down to sort of go inside to see the editor.

And there were people outside to Picketing.

And I knew them, a couple of them.

And they were like, oh yeah, we're really hoping

that you won't come a dirty shift here

because I'd heard there was loads of shifts

going because everyone had a fucking strike.

And I said, well, I need to make some money.

You know, I'm back in London for a couple of weeks, I need to make some money.

I can't make forward to the door, I just not work they said well why don't you try over there because it was

all in Fleet Street you know so I thought about it then I got on the phone to the

editor you said yeah can you do a job for us?

Yeah. So I was kind of like, you know, I was very young, I was 20 something, you know, I said,

yeah, okay. And it was at a time, you might not remember this, but it was a guy

called the Fox, who was like a serial killer or a serial

a serial fucking philanthropy we call it rapist or something like that and it was

somewhere up in Hartfordshire I think and I couldn't drive in those days right I had

no driving license no car I somehow found my own I didn't own money either yeah
