When 7-year-old Tracy Neef was dropped off late to her elementary school one cool Friday morning,

her mother did not realise when she waved her goodbye that she would

never see her beloved daughter again. Only hours later, tourists exploring would find Tracy's

remains near a reservoir 40 miles away from where she should have been in the safety of her school.

A bungled crime scene and lost DNA evidence
