Hugh Douglas a long time. Great Eagles defensive end. Eagles are playing the bears

in the post-season and that might ring a bell to a lot of people including Hugh Douglas

he'll share some memories of the last time the Eagles and Bears met in

soldier field in a post-season game and he's got some good ones I would think

and and he's got some good ones I would think and it's interesting the Eagles

and Bears have only played three times in the post season 79 and then the

fog bowl in 88 which was certainly unforgettable and then the fog bowl in 88 which was certainly unforgettable and then the game

of 2001 for two franchises that have been around as long as they have since the

30s you would think there was more of a history but there's not

I'll meet for the fourth time on Sunday back at Soldier Field and that game of

2001 was similar in a lot of ways to this one in that the bears in 2001 were the number two seed

Just like they almost were if the Rams had lost one more game but the Bears are a really good defensive team with an offense that's kind of

functional but certainly their business is a team and like a lot of Bears

teams all the great Bears teams build around defenses whether you go back to

Steve McMichael and Richard Denton, those guys in the 85 team.

They had a Hall of Fame running back, but that was a team built around a great Buddy Ryan defense.

And the 2001 Bears team was no different.
