Well, welcome back, everyone to this edition of the Dungeon Master's Block, the place where we talk about the dungeon master,

the most important person in the game, the only person capable of playing God,

killing characters, and lowering the egos of all the players at the table.

And I'm Dungeon Master Mitch.

And we are so excited for this episode today because you may have seen him lurking around Twitter.

You may have read his books.

You may have heard Rich Howard talk about him.

But we have today a very special guest by the name of Lou Anders.

And if you are not familiar with any of his work, you should be because his books in the Thrones and Bones series are absolutely phenomenal.

And if you're looking for any books for kids to read, these would be the ones, or to read

to your kids. These would be the books that you should get for your kids. We have him on today

because his world that he has built is absolutely phenomenal. And he spent, I mean,

you'll hear in the interview that we have with him. He's spent, I don't know, he's got like 60,000 words on each individual province that he has created.

Which very little of that makes it.

Well, not, I shouldn't say very little of that, but he said, like, the majority that he has written down compared to what makes it in the books is minuscule.

And he's like, I love talking about my world because in the books, you only get glimpses of wherever they're going.

And you may hear rumors from other places, but there's so much that he has.

And so we get a lot of insight into his world of Qualth and a lot of good gems of what to do

in world building in this interview coming up yeah his experience is really something that

helps him out a lot and and I think in the end will help us help us out a lot because the
