Here's your host, Fred Green. On January 1st, 2016, long putters, also known as anchored putters, will be banned for use in tournament play at all levels.

Today's episode is actually a conversation we had with Tom Wishan explaining what it all means back in December of 2012, just after the ruling was announced by the USGA and RNA.

This is the first time we've ever replayed an episode, and it's only happening because,

well, not only is it timely, but we had technical difficulties recording this week's show.
