I wonder though, should I be welcoming you or should you be welcoming me?

It occurred to me recently because I've been listening to a podcast.

I don't listen to a lot of podcasts.

I generally don't have time.

I mean, I guess people make time for things, but I don't commute anywhere and I don't,

at this point in my life, I don't have a lot of spaces where I'm not doing something

that requires my verbal brain.

If I were a painter or a sculptor or doing a lot of hiking or bus driving or cleaning

offices at night or something where my verbal brain wasn't engaged, then I would definitely

be listening to podcasts and audiobooks and stuff like that.

But generally, when I'm working, I'm working in words.

It's just distracting to listen to someone else talk.

I can't even listen to music with words.

Even music without words has become difficult when I'm trying to write or focus.

But anyway, because of the way I'm living now, here in Tarky, where I am, I go for a walk

every day.

It's beautiful.
