Had them on the podcast before. Jim, how you doing? Good to be here.

I'm looking forward to chatting with you. We've had a podcast before and I think the first time I actually

met you in person person we were darn I were at the

NWTF convention last year in Nashville Tennessee and I believe you were there

as a part of the mule deer study I think what were you

doing there? Yeah I'm part I'm one of two Arizona game of fish representatives

on the National Wild Turkey Federation Technical Committee.

So that's one or two biologists from all the states and they get together in that

convention is where we get together and we talk about common things that we can do to make

Turkey management more consistent and talk about new

developments in turkey biology. Okay for whatever reason I thought you were there

for mule deer but maybe you were going to a mule deer. You were remembering because I was coming right from Salt Lake City in the Western

Hunting Conservation Expo which this year those two were exactly the same weekend and so

I have to go the mule deer one because I run an all--Dere working group meeting there and so I won't be in Nashville unfortunately, but that was a good time.

Yeah, we're going to go to Western Hunting Expo also and have to miss the NWTF. No.

But you've, let's start at the beginning.

You've been with the Game and Fish here in Arizona for how long?

27 years and about two weeks.

Yeah, my bachelor's degree from University of Wisconsin Stephen's Point,
