πŸ“œ TODAY'S SCRIPTURE: Psalm 1:4-6

The wicked are not so,
but are like chaff that the wind drives away.

5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,
    nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous;
for the Lord knows the way of the righteous,
but the way of the wicked will perish.

Good morning my friends are you ready to live a life that is grounded in the

0:07.4

truth of God that is rooted there like a massive oak tree not being moved not being shaken because you are so firmly grounded in what

0:19.3

God has to say about the way to live in this world. My name is Carrie Green. It's my hope that this

0:25.1

morning mindset can be a part of what God uses to bless your life with his truth so that you

0:31.6

will be like that tree. We were reading in

0:34.3

1:06.1

plants their feet on God's word is true of a person who is wicked. Instead he says they are like chaff that the wind drives

1:16.7

away. Do you understand that terminology? Chaff, do you know what that is?

1:21.3

It's an agricultural term. Back in the day of this writing

1:26.0

they would cut their crops down, so say it was wheat for example, they would cut it

1:31.6

down, it would fall to the ground. They would let it sit there for

1:34.8

a while until the colonels would fall off, because that's the part they want. They want the grain. And

1:41.2

then they would take what they called a threshing fork and they would toss the

1:46.5

entire thing up into the air. And what would happen is the wind blowing by would

1:52.0

blow away the stalk and the leaves.

1:54.8

That is what they called the chaff.
