All right. So let's get this episode kicked off. Reading about Apple's upcoming M3 chips makes me

realize that my M1 MacBook Air is still chugging on just fine. I want to know what draws you

to actually upgrade your hardware. Is it just the faster chips?

Is it new features that you really want?

Or do you really just wait until you run something to the ground?

And do you have a different upgrade strategy for, say, mobile devices like phones versus computers?

Flo, why don't you start us off?

Well, I actually just updated my laptop at the end of 2021.

So usually what I do is I try to wait five years before I even think about replacing

whatever my work, you know, my main machine is.

But I use Windows.

So, you know, and it's been okay with the different like Intel chips and all that.

Like they've been long lasting for me to be able to wait that long.
