Hey y'all, welcome to Peak Shade. It's Mary Payne here and I've got Aaron. We're here to talk about life after lockup. You guys are back. I don't sound great. I'm here. I saw a told ear and I sent a little like Darth Vader.

You guys. In the last like shot mouth hole. Totally totally. Oh my god. I'll be able to do great impression. In the last two weeks, I had I got hit by another car. I went on a trip. I got a severe science

effect where I had to get two shots in my buttocks as they say in first go in the bus. And then I had a terrible fall and have done something to my leg.

We don't know yet. I have to go to the orthopedic doctor tomorrow. I went to the ER and they just give you a little spit shine. I send you back on the airplane.

So I don't know what's wrong yet. I'll have more answers. I feel like I'm going to be this weekend. It's a long story of how it happened but basically my sister's house. There's a gate into the neighborhood.

So it opens at 6 a.m. Well, our flight was at 6 a.m. So we were leaving at 4.15 a.m. Which as you know, I love to wake up early. I really hadn't. I don't think any of us. You don't really sleep that much when you know you don't know you have to get up.

So you know, you pull your car up to the gate and it doesn't automatically open. So I got out to walk around to press the code from the other side.

So Dave could go through and then we so you know, my sister was like, oh, yeah, we do that all the time. You know, whatever.

Most people have clickers, but for some reason she's like, we have a clicker. We don't know where it is. That's another story. So I got out and walked around and just saw that you could like lean over and press it.

But though it was a low. It's a wooden fence thing like built up. So I could like sit on it and just swing my legs over and jump.

And you're like riding the fence. Yeah, I'm at the beginning. Yes, but it's not not like a picket that like a picket fence. You know what I mean?

It's like the top of its flat where you could sit on it like a ledge. So I just sat on it and swung my legs around to jump to the other side.

And then I was like, I'll punch it the gate. I'll open hill come out instead of just pressing it and whatever. So that was the wrong decision because when I jumped to the other side, it was a much further drop.

The the side I was standing and my left ankle twisted on the, you know, where the where the driveway met the gravel to where the fence was.

And then that cost me to sort of like kind of flail around and then my right leg went under me in the wrong angle. I'll just put it that way.

I fell on my back screaming like a turtle had my leg in my hand. I was screaming at the top of the lungs. Help me help me. Dave. Help me help me.

He could not hear me because he was behind the gate in the running car with the windows up. So the car was okay. The windows were up and the gate was still closed at the point. And on the other side, like in the road screaming laying on my back.

I was screaming. So finally he didn't ever I said that I picked up my phone, which was in my pocket and was calling him and he didn't hear it because like the car was running or his phone is for in the morning, he didn't like have his phone handy. And where was my life alert.

Exactly. If I could only have had that like thing on my neck. So he got out of the car and came around and saw me laying like a turtle on my back and was like, oh my God. So called 911. The ambulance came. It was all good times. And the ambulance was like, we can take you. But where you David already got me like, like literally picked me up. By the way, you understand the man has so many back in neck problems. It is not need to be picking me up.

So he's like half picking me up. John's trying to help. They're like, hoist me into the car into the ambulance came was like, you're already in the car. I would not move it again to the ambulance and the back out of the I would stay in the car and drive.

And like what the hospital gets you in. So they did that. They x rated they mobilized it. Nothing was broken. So from that point, they're just like, since you on your way with good luck. Basically, until you to go to your orthopedic. So we got back.

Then you had to fly home from fly home with the layover with the layover three hour layover in Charlottes. I had lovely sky caps long the way that were pushing me. One of was John because this guy kept it in time. So John just took it up on himself.
