Hello everyone, hello Chris, my name is Katie.

I'm from Jacksonville Beach, Florida, but I've been in Vietnam for the past three months,

teaching English for maybe the next year.

We've been called off work for a week due to the coronavirus.

Before that it was the lunar new year.

We were back for a couple days, but they were taking our temperature and we had to wear

a mask inside and teach with a mask on and taking some precaution.

So I decided to come out to Katba Island, do some hiking at the National Park here.

It's absolutely gorgeous, but they are handing out masks at the park.

So I'm just trying to breathe some fresh air and get away from that real sense of panic

in the air around the coronavirus.

I gave up a permanent residence since June from Boulder, Colorado.

Currently in Basalt, I've been sharing my time, half time in Spain, half time in the
