Hello and welcome to a very special edition of Mormon Stories podcast.

I'm your host John DeLin and today we have something in store for you that's quite

of a different than what I normally do.

I've entitled today's episode, The Past, Present and Future of Mormon Stories, a 2014

end of year update.

And I hope that this is pretty brief but I have sort of three main goals for this presentation

which I'm providing in audio but I'm also providing in video.

There's basically three main things I want to do today in this episode.

The first is to report back to you, my listeners and mostly those of you who have supported

me and Mormon Stories financially.

I want to report back to you on what we've been able to accomplish over the past five

years thanks in part to your generous support.

I promise that this portion will be very, very fast so don't worry it'll be just a few

minutes.

The second thing I want to do is sort of talk about the present, specifically talk about

where I am now with my state president, where I am in my relationship to the church, and

where I am with graduate school, just to sort of give you all an update on exactly where

things stand.

There's been a lot of questions and I just want to sort of address them head on.

And then finally I want to end by talking about what I'm most excited about which is

the future of Mormon Stories and my professional career and you and basically how I plan on sort

of transitioning Mormon Stories in the future to help serve you, my listeners.
