Hello swampdweller, I have never submitted a story before.

Forgive me for this subpar writing of this story.

I want to preface this by saying that this story is 100% true.

I am a skeptic, and as such, I don't put too much stock in the paranormal.

As said, the events that took place on this night are, to this day, compelling evidence

that my skeptical mind cannot rationalize.

To set the scene, I will give you a short backstory.
