I'm your host, Catholic Answers Apologist and Speaker, Trent Horn.

I am here at the Catholic Answers Annual Conference in San Diego, joining me is our newest

apologist, Mr. Joe Heschmeier.

Thanks for having me, I'm excited to be here.

So we just got done with the panel, so we got the live Q&A panel with the Apologist,

your first one, how do you feel it went?

I think it was a lot of fun to do.

I'm a terrible judge of my own stuff, but it was great being in the presence of three

people who answer questions extremely well on ones that didn't always have to answer.

I thought you handled yourself with great up-plum.

You did a very good job.

It was great.

It was fun, especially for some of the questions where we could just interact with each other

and have fun a little back and forth.

I'm hoping to share that with you all on the podcast.

I don't know if that episode will, one, if I'll get the files.

And if I do, it might err before this episode or after, I don't know, but I'm sure I'll

get it up there.

But today I wanted to ask you Joe about the papacy, because you wrote a book, Pope Peter,

defending the church's most distinctive doctrine in a time of crisis.
