Welcome back, everybody to The Incomparable.

I'm your host, Jason Snell, and this episode is all about the sci-fi channel original series,

The Magicians, Season 5, the final season of the magicians, because it was

canceled. But it has an ending that they wrote, knowing that they probably weren't coming back,

but might. So again, I feel like it reaches an ending, but we'll talk about the ending when we get

there. I wanted to start, though, by talking about the show, as we always do when we do episodes about

these TV shows that are on.

So you can watch the first four seasons on Netflix, at least in the U.S.

I think they're widely available that way.

And so we wanted to just at least start with a little bit of a pitch for why you should watch the magicians.

Now that it's complete, you may be like one of those people who says, I will not watch a show unless I know that it is complete.

And so we're going to do that before we blow the spoiler horn and talk about season five and then the series as a whole.
