I'm Liz Sauer and this is Ghosts in the Verbs, a podcast of ghost stories from Wellesley

Massachusetts.

A warning, adults who use adult language told me these frightening tales, these ghost

stories aren't for kids.

I'm not sure how you're all feeling, but I'm a little on edge right now.

And when I'm wound this tightly, I know the best thing for me is distraction, a project,

a goal, anything to get my mind off, me, me, me.

So of course, I thought of my upcoming 41st birthday.

This year, I want to do something different.

So from now until my birthday, April 13th, and yes, I was born on a Friday, I'm donating

all proceeds from the Ghosts in the Verbs Teespring Shop to direct relief, a charity that

coordinates with public health authorities, nonprofit organizations, and businesses in the

US and globally to provide personal protective equipment and essential medical items to

healthcare workers responding to coronavirus.

In the US, direct relief is delivering protective masks, along with exam gloves and isolation

gowns, to healthcare organizations and areas with confirmed COVID-19 cases.

So grab a t-shirt mug or sticker and know that all proceeds are going to protect healthcare

workers.

And by doing so, you'll be granting me my birthday wish.
