Today I have with me Ann Gonerra, who has always been passionate about learning.

After earning a degree in comparative literature and received

her master's and PhD in Spanish literature and taught at the undergraduate level.

Her doctorate research focused on Afro-Latin poetry from

Cuba, Mexico, and Brazil. She's lived in Spain and Peru and spent a significant amount of time conducting research in Cuba, Mexico, and Brazil.

Language learning is Anne's passion and she shares it with her husband Daniel.

He was a French and political science major, and they are now introducing that love of language to their two sons, Xavier, who's four, and Felix, who's just a little itty-bitty one.
