Summary
Today on the show we’re talking to Kara Goldin, CEO and Founder of Hint Inc. a flavored water company, and author of Undaunted: Overcoming Doubts and Doubters. Kara takes us through her life story, starting with growing up in Arizona, creating opportunities to make money by making a camp with her friends and charging $5 a day for people to come and hang out.
After leaving her position at AOL, Kara took some time off to focus on being a mother. During that time off Kara realized how much soda she was drinking, and wanted to make a healthy change in her diet. She quickly noticed how many unhealthy beverage options there were on the market today, and wanted to make a change.
After an investor told Kara that America wouldn’t accept her flavored water brand, she used that as motivation to push herself and her brand farther than anyone thought possible.
