Welcome to the show Brent Simmons hey good to talk to you guys. Brent made one of my favorite apps, Net NewsWire, back in the day, right?

Oh yeah.

Which is not back in the day anymore.

We're going to talk about that at some point. It's back.

One day today will be referred to as back in the day, right? Well yeah there you go. I guess it's all relative, isn't it?

But this got philosophical quick.

Oh man, we don't mess around here on MPU.

But Brent is really one of the most gifted Mac developers.

I mean, that's the way I was introduced to you,

like buying your apps and hearing you

and reading the stuff you used to write on your blog about this stuff.

But then you kind of did a career transition at one point and you're doing a lot of marketing and things like that for the Omni group these days.

Omni Group is sometimes a sponsor of the show. They had nothing to do with this. You know, we reached out to Brent separately. This isn't an Omni ad this show. But it is interesting how someone was so you know so such a talented programmer but you

done this career change and I want to hear about that and and how you're pulling
