So glad that you guys are tuning in.

I've got a play for you today from the Johnny Dollar program. Real quick, before we get into

this one, I just want to make a quick disclaimer. The first half of today's play, there is some

record scratching noise that I was not able to get out without ruining the good part of what we

want to hear. And so we will have to put up with some record scratching noise the first half.

But the good news is the second half of the play gets a lot better. And so that's kind of nice.

One thing that we have to realize as fans of old-time radio is that these are radio programs

from the mid-1900s for the most part.

And sometimes there's just going to be some annoying noise issues

that we are going to have to deal with. It just sort of comes with the territory. And I do my best

to clean up any noise that I can. But sometimes the task at hand is just either too difficult

or even impossible to do without ruining the good part of the audio. But the noise isn't that

bad that you won't be able to enjoy the play. Okay, so let's go ahead and get into our play.
