Good morning my friends and welcome back to the morning mindset. My name is

0:07.2

Carrie Green. I'm a retired pastor and I am spending my days now. Yes, running a business doing work to support my family but

0:14.7

also recording this morning mindset because it is important to me that believers

0:20.1

in Jesus Christ be equipped, be encouraged, be reminded every single day that they need

0:28.0

to set their minds to walk and think and live according to the truth of their God, which is revealed in

0:36.4

scripture. That's what the morning mind said is here for. We've been doing that most

0:41.4

recently by looking at the Psalms. We're in Psalm chapter 119 and some interesting things

0:48.0

about Psalm 119 that you may not be aware of. I remember first of all coming across Psalm 119 when I was a child

1:31.8

Because many of the ones I had read were very short. But I got to

1:36.1

Psalm 119 and my little plan kind of got thwarted because Psalm 119 in case you didn't know is the longest chapter in

1:46.2

terms of verses in the entire Bible. It contains 176 verses versus not just your typical handful like Psalms usually have.

2:00.8

And there are some other things about Psalm chapter 119 that are helpful for us to understand.

2:07.0

Number one is the theme, the theme of this chapter is God's Word. And because that theme is so predominant, you will see some reference

2:20.1

to God's word. It may be the word God's law or his testimonies or his ways or his precepts or even just straight out his word, you will hear those kinds of phrases in just

2:37.8

about every verse of Psalm 119. I believe there are only four verses that do not contain a

2:46.6

reference to the word of God. So a biblical interpretation principle that's
