507. Jason Lindgren is with me and we have a guest using a pseudonym who will be

called May. We're basically going to cover the events of Nagasaki during World War II or maybe

near the end of World War II. May had a mother and a grandmother who were both in Nagasaki and

we're going to move from that premise. Welcome, Jason.

Thank you for having me.

It's a pleasure to have you. We have very brief notes, so maybe we should start by most of the information here is going to come directly from your mother who is we just found out almost identically my mother's age my mother

passed away a year ago just after Easter your mother is turning 90 and so they were

literally born in the same year. Now your mother was in

Nagasaki as was your grandmother but as you pointed out to me and is typical of that

generation your grandmother was very stoic and I guess there was a little

information shared but not a lot. Would you like to add anything to that description to

cue this up? No, that's it.

I mean, unfortunately, we didn't get much information

for my grandmother because she wasn't very talkative,

but again, my mother's still alive.

She just turned 90, and we're fortunate to have her alive healthy and one thing I really want to

point out is that none of them had cancer so there you go.
