Yeah, you can. When we talk about surfboards, we often talk about the virtues of supporting local board builders. Of course, there's

an environmental consideration, but it's perhaps more important to get a board from somebody who

is building boards for the local waves. And it's probably the best case scenario if that board

builder also surfs, and then even better if they surf at a high level. Shane Stoneman has dedicated his life to these

exact pursuits. He's a former professional surfer, a shaper for 37 years, respected by his peers

around the world in both of those disciplines, and also a staunch believer that you should let the

work speak for itself.

I've gotten to know Shane over the years, and during that time, he has been one of the most requested interviews subjects.

So this is perhaps long overdue, but we finally made it.
