Today we are talking once again about humility and we're going to talk about it in the

context of how humility relates to faith. Now we live the Christian life as a life of faith. We all would not

our heads at that statement because we talk about the Christian life as a life of

faith. We say my faith dictates that I do this or that or my

faith in Christ, you know, we use as almost as a noun when we're speaking of

things that have to do with the way we live as Christians.

And what Andrew Murray points out in his book,

humility, is that faith cannot exist without humility.

And he goes so far as to say faith and humility are very much the same thing.

He says we might as well attempt to see without eyes, or live without breath, as believe or draw nigh to God or dwell in his

love without an all-pervading humility and loneliness of heart. You see he's saying that
