The Hello and welcome to mini episode number 5003 of real life ghost stories.

And I have three spooky stories for you today.

And the last story comes from November the 23rd, 2025.

And story number one comes from Sean. This was in the early 80s,

and I had recently gone away to college. I'd come home for the first summer, and occasionally

borrowed my mother's car. I went to a bar with a friend, driving that boat of a car. I didn't get

properly drunk, just lightly buzzed.

We were headed home at like 1 a.m. and passing the cemetery, which was down a steep hill and across

a fairly large parking lot. We saw a girl on her own walking down the street we were on and hitchhiking.

We passed, then decided to go back and pick her up so we could drive

her home. We had nothing better to do. So we went down a couple of blocks, turned left and left

and then left again, and went back to where we could get on the street we were driving down

before. She was gone. We figured someone must have picked her up and drove back to my place.

The following weekend, the same friend and I went to the same bar and went home around the same time.

There, on the same block in the same place, was what seemed to be the same girl hitchhiking.

We passed going, no way.

So we went down a couple of blocks, did the same left and left and left turn, and went back to the original street. She was gone, again, nowhere to be seen on either side of the street.

She might have been picked up both times, but it only took us like two minutes to go around those few blocks. She might

have gotten to where she was going, but that wouldn't have explained why she was hitchhiking.

She could have gone into or around one of the houses there, but that seemed highly unlikely.

We couldn't come up with a reasonable explanation for that one that didn't involve mental
