Well, I'm back from my trip.

0:02.8

Thanks for letting me skip last week. Oh, no, no. Welcome back. It's my pleasure. Yeah, and it was really huge inconvenience for you, Jimmy, to not do a podcast. Thank you for being so graceful there. Yeah. What did you do, by the way? I mean, can you talk about it? Yeah, absolutely. So I got hired to do a, to host a show, it's a YouTube show, but it's

0:23.9

kind of a new thing for me. So this company called Test Equity is putting to, they make

0:28.9

testing equipment for like labs and manufacturing and stuff, all this stuff.

0:42.4

And so they have a bunch of partners, and they're making a series of videos that are like,

0:47.4

let's take a piece of technology or a piece of science and just go to the people who do the work, talk to them about it.

0:49.1

We'll show that we have products there and stuff, but it's like a kind of learning thing.

0:53.6

So they hired me as the host,

0:55.5

and they basically told me at the beginning, your job is to ask questions and to be curious.

1:00.4

I'm like, cool, I can do that. So I go to, we just did the first episode of this last week. And

1:07.9

basically, I go to a place. They line up interviews with scientists and with people

1:12.3

who work there and do the thing. And I get to go in and ask them questions and be myself. And

1:18.1

it's, there's a script, but they're like, you know, it's just so you know kind of where we're

1:22.2

headed. You can use it or not use it. It doesn't matter. Just talk to the people and get to know

1:26.1

them. That's great. It's going to be ongoing. Yeah. So we signed up for two and then if those do well, there's another six, like an option for another six in the first season. And then if they like it, then they'll keep doing it. But that's great. So I'd never done anything like this before. And so I was really hesitant about it. In fact, I turned him down at the beginning because I was just like, nah, it just doesn't seem like me. And then when I had a call with them, they were like being kind of persistent. I had a call with them, and they were like, we can find somebody else, but we actually want you to do it. And I'm like, hmm, that's weird. Why? Why?

2:06.4

And so as they explained it, I was like, okay, I mean, it sounds interesting because they were like, it's not, it's not a commercial.

2:08.7

It's more of a kind of like Bill Nye, you get to go in and just learn about stuff and be

2:15.6

curious and, you know, you don't have to do research going into it

2:19.8

to know what to ask or whatever just like find out so even after all that i was like pretty

2:25.3

i don't know i was not looking forward to going because i didn't know it was going to go i didn't know

2:30.7

any of the people involved i didn't know how big the crew was going to be or if it was one of those like, you know, right before they they call action, somebody run in and like make ups me and stuff and I didn't know what it was going to be like.

2:45.2

Make up me. And so and, you know, that like last looks and somebody runs in and powders everything and runs off.
