As companies continue to boast AI investments, marketers are struggling to keep up, according to a recent report from customer engagement platform Braze, which finds that less than 50% of marketers are using or intend to use AI in their everyday tasks. At the same time, cross-functional team collaboration is at a standstill, with only 1% of customer engagement being owned by a combination of marketing and technical teams, and 25% of customer engagement executed by non-marketers.
