And today I want to share some interesting statistics that just came out this past week from

Amazon related to the number of active shoppers globally, as well as Amazon's biggest legal victory

yet. Amazon plays a delicate balancing act between growth and integrity. I think most people

have a good idea now of Amazon's massive scale. As of this year, July 2025, Amazon has around 326 million active shoppers

globally, capturing about 11.7% of all online shoppers worldwide. In the U.S., Amazon holds

45% of the online shopping market share, and almost 80% of its users are U.S.-based.

Amazon built its massive scale and reputation on speed and trust.

It was one of the first real e-commerce platforms to prioritize reviews.

Back in the early 2010s, shopping online was still relatively new.

People were hesitant to put their credit card on random websites to order stuff online. But

Amazon was one of the first companies to successfully gain the trust of the market. And reviews
