The Welcome to Episode 500. We are 10 years in, about 50 episodes per year. Rolling so quickly from one week to the next

probably doesn't really give me enough time to really soak in some of these conversations.

And sometimes listening back to older episodes, they actually sound completely new to me.

Like I almost entirely forgot the details of the conversation, but I never forget the

impact, the emotional connection with the guests I always feel indelibly, and the imprint they

leave really does inform future conversations and episodes, even if the exact words kind of get

lost to my memory. Anyways, I just want to say I would be grateful to do another 500 episodes, and the momentum

is stronger than ever, so thank you listeners for the support.

This truly has been an honor.

And I've never actually planned out, quote, important guests for our year-end episodes

or the centennial episodes, but it somehow always turns out

that those episodes happen to be memorable and meaningful. Our 100th episode, nine years ago,

actually happened to be Dave Parmenter's first appearance. Episode 200 was Jamie Brissick's first

appearance. Kind of a landmark episode for me,

I feel like after that episode hit, people were really starting to listen to podcasts, and

seems like our listenership almost doubled after that one episode. Dick Mets, Part 1, happened

to be episode 300, which became probably the most downloaded series thus far.

Salema Masakala was Episode 400, which was really kind of a powerful episode,

just after his father had died, after he had some natural medicine experience.
