It's important to emphasize that recovery from one, however heroic, does not guarantee recovery from a second problem area or a third or a fourth.

Switching addictions, say, from alcohol to food or smoking doesn't provide the desire relief either.

Complete freedom comes when the last addiction, the last condition,
