Summary

In this episode, I tackle a question I hear a lot. In fact, it may be one of the most important questions we ask on our journey with the Lord. The question is this; how can I grow in hearing God’s voice for my life? For my family? For my future? My passion is to show you how to hear God’s voice and grow in your gifting. In my last podcast episode, I spoke about the four overarching truth’s for discerning God’s voice. We each hear God’s voice distinctly and uniquely. 2. We are called to steward the gift of hearing His voice. 3. God doesn’t hide from us; He is always speaking (Proverbs 3:6). 4. Hearing His voice is the fruit of relationship. I relate discerning the voice of God through what I like to call, filters. While there are countless ways in which the Lord communicates with us, how we experience His voice can be summarized in four primary prophetic personalities; hearers, feelers, seers, and knowers. 0:41.6	And this is a series we've been doing which is learning about hearing God's voice for our life and I'm teaching you on this.

1:41.6	I want to show you a little bit about how to hear God's voice and how to grow in God's voice for your life.
1:47.6	Now it's very important I want you to lean in. I know that sounds funny on a podcast but I want you to lean into this truth because this is going to revolutionize the way you think about hearing God's voice.
1:58.6	And that is the first part of understanding how God hears and how he speaks I should say to our lives is that you hear God's voice distinctly and differently than almost everyone around you.
2:17.6	I want to say everyone but we all have met that one friend where it feels like we're twinning on everything right.
2:24.6	But honestly you hear God completely differently than those around you and you have a very distinct way that you hear him.
2:34.6	And how he speaks to you, you know, no one else has your humor, no one else holds your heart like you do.
2:41.6	No one else sees life and has had your experiences like you do.
2:47.6	And so God has no problem pushing through all of those barriers or even the creative dynamics of our lives.
