From Arrow News, From AeroNews.net, privatization is back in the news. The White House budget includes ATC privatization. The latest proposal released on Monday, February 12th, includes a plan to

privatize ATC in the U.S., a concept that's been opposed by most of the industry's major advocacy groups.

In a statement released shortly after the budget was made public, NBAA President and CEO Ed Boland restated the association's strong opposition to the proposal, calling it a giveaway to the big airlines.
