Almari and me, James Holland. Now I'm a comedian who likes a bit of history and

James is a historian, well he's done quite a lot of telly actually. What we've done

I'm not very funny. Well no I didn't want to go there but I wouldn't open

with that. And what we like to do is talk about, we like to talk about the

second world, aren't we James? Yeah we like to, it's banter really isn't it?

But in form of banter, we have. In form banter and what we like to do is pick

up a subject, run with it, see where it takes us and we're open to people

selling in there, suggestions for questions, their corrections, their disagreements

and we are happy, we are happy to be corrected some of the time, isn't that right James?

I think we are and we're also happy to, we're also happy to have strong opinions

and actually we've had a question and we were saying, say Churchill on the one hand,

Hitler on the other, was there a kind of grudging respect between the two?

I think a short answer is no. No, no.

Well and the, because the really interesting thing is that, is that Churchill

after all sets himself out in the late 30s politically saying watch out for this guy

and has the measure of Nazism, has the measure of German aims and

I don't know if he'd read mine, Kampf, because not many, not really people

outside Germany have. Well you can try, but he will send you to sleep.

He might have had a go with it. He's dreadful. I'm pretty sure he probably, I think he,

if he'd not read it then he knew what was in it. And so he had a pretty good grip on
