Summary

Today on the show we have David Meltzer, the CEO of Sports 1, a sports marketing firm which he co-founded with hall of fame quarterback, Warren Moon. David talks about how when he was a kid, the only problems he had were money problems, and that was something that he wanted to fix.

David talks about how he went to law school and became a successful lawyer, but it wasn’t exactly what he wanted to be doing, so he quit and started selling “the internet” in 1992. He was on top of the world, creating business in Silicon Valley. Then in 2008 everything came crashing down. David surrounded himself with the wrong people and started losing sight of the values that got him to where he was.

David now has a better understanding of what helped him become successful and stay successful, a mix between money and faith. David now has 4 books out, helping other people get to where he is at now, Connected to Goodness, Compassion in Capitalism, Creating the Life You Love, and Gametime Decision Making.
