First it's Social Affairs journalist Hannah Fern. Hi Hannah, hi Ross. You've got a piece in the

eye newspaper today about something that bothers a lot of women in

committed relationships. Our pensions are often a lot smaller than our partners and

it can make you feel dependent even trapped. What did you find out? Yes, so the average what's known as gender pension gap.

We heard of the gender pay gap, this is the pension equivalent, is pretty huge. So women retire with an average pension of around at

69,000 pounds, that's the pot obviously, not what they're not annually, not annually.

And for men it's 205,000 pounds and there are obviously a lot of reasons why this occurs.
