Summary

This week a listener wrote in with lots of anxiety about the fate of the world. Because some of Jessica's horoscopes predicted much of this political madness and hate, she asked: Are we headed for a downturn? Is there any hope?  In the horoscope segment, it's reality check time. We get into pacing, moderation, and the ego. Jessica dives into personal responsibility and how it can help you sleep at night – all in this, the 50th episode of Ghost of a Podcast! Register (and join from anywhere in the world) for Jessica's first live webinar, Cultivating Emotional Intelligence with Astrology.  It's on June 23, 2019 at 3pmPDT, but no need to attend live - you'll get a copy of the class to keep! Use this link: reshvoicesinastrology.com/emotional-intelligence or go to the Events page of Jessica's website 🗓. ♥️ To send your question to be answered by Jessica on the podcast, or read your weekly horoscope, visit lovelanyadoo.com.

Welcome back to Ghost of a Podcast. This week I have a question that I really couldn't

0:21.3

resist trying to answer. It goes like this. I know a lot of people are feeling this right

0:26.2

now, but each and every headline I read seems to be a new level of horror and evil, and

0:31.3

I can't even wrap my mind around all of the hurtful current events. I know that fear of

the unknown is inevitable, and astrology cannot fox that fear. But I remember your horoscope

0:40.9

for the year 2019, and some of your recent horoscopes seem to predict all of this political

madness and hate. I've been practicing self-care and trying to not burn out so that I can

0:50.8

do the work long term and hopefully make a difference. But I just can't shake the feeling

0:56.0

that we are doomed, and it feels like the end of the world. This frequently keeps me

1:00.1

up at night, and I'm wondering what the stars say about the future of humanity. My biggest

1:04.3

concern is that we are so accustomed to these daily, if not hourly, heartbreaking, infuriating,

1:10.5

life-threatening headlines and events that we are losing sight of how abnormal and messed

1:15.0

up this is. I see this apathy and complacency, and it scares me to my core. Is there any hope?

1:22.4

So damn, that's a good question. I'm going to call you, I don't know, sleep, listen,

1:28.3

Seattle. I just made it up. For no reason, this person isn't even from Seattle, but sleep

listen, Seattle was born on November 16, 1994 at 850 pm in Toledo, Ohio. The first thing

1:42.1

I want to say is the future is unknowable. So astrology is able to predict patterns and

1:49.6

themes and potential, sometimes with scary accuracy. But when we're talking about something

1:56.2

as vast as humanity, we cannot accurately predict it. Maybe we can, actually, we maybe
