Hey, what's up, everybody, and welcome back to another episode of That Traathlon Show, the podcast presented by Scientific Traathlon.com.

0:28.0

I'm your host, Michael, and on today's episode, we'll talk about five ways that you can spend less money on triathlon.

0:36.0

So I hope that this is something that you might be interested in,

0:39.0

even though I know that it's sometimes really fun to go out and splurge the cash on all things

0:45.3

related to triathlon. But at the end of the day, we primarily need to put food on the table and

0:51.2

have a roof over our head. So if there are ways that we can save a little bit of money by not spending as much on

0:58.3

triathlon, then that's great, isn't it?

1:01.9

But before jumping into that main topic, let me just give you a quick personal update.

1:07.6

That's also related to the podcast.

Today, by the time of this recording, is Wednesday,

1:13.0

the 11th of October 2017. And yesterday, I moved from Helsinki, Finland, to Lisbon, Portugal,

1:21.0

as I've been mentioning on the podcast previously. And other good things, my bike is

1:46.4

with me. I bought a new pair of running shoes. All this good, so I'm really, really looking forward

1:52.2

to this new chapter in my triathlon life and life in general. I want to say that the podcasting

2:00.2

quality will see how this echo of this room will

2:05.4

affect it. I hope I can remove its imposed editing, but my initial tests led me to believe that

2:11.8

I will have quite a bit more echo than I used to have in Helsinki because I had some nice

2:16.6

and soft curtains at the

2:19.3

wall that could stop some of the echo sounds, but I'm sure that after a few episodes, I will

2:23.4

find a way to get rid of that as well. One more thing I already sent out an email about this

2:29.8

to the Scientific Triathlon newsletter. If you're not on it, by the way, go and sign up on
