Five ways to begin your day in a more peaceful way.

Before I even roll out of bed in the morning,

I like to lay there and think about

what my day is gonna look like

and how I can infuse more joy and happiness and pleasurable experience in in the

full scale of of my commitments and responsibilities.

What I find is I can squeeze in at least two or three things each day,

sometimes even more.

And what this does is it helps bring a beautiful balance

to what I have to do, what I want to do, and then those two things come together quite nicely.

The other thing that I like to do and that I recommend that you do is before even

Rolling out of bed make sure that you take some time for a morning stretch

lift your hands over your head, stretch your arms out, lengthen your fingertips, point

your toes, and just lengthen your entire body.

Then from there, put those arms and legs

out to the four corners of your bed

and stretch again.

And then when you're done doing that,

bring your knees to your chest and give yourself a hug.

This is a great way to free up tension from your back and shoulders and just get your body awake and get you in touch with living inside of your body.
