Hi, I'm Andrew Ross Sorkin, co-host of Squawk Box, and this is five things to know before today's opening bell.

The White House saying the Commerce Department still working out the legal details of President Trump's plan to charge 15% export taxes on Nvidia and AMD for sending certain semiconductors to China.

The White House press secretary is saying that similar arrangements could be applied to other

companies in the future.

The Financial Times reports that OpenAICO Sam Altman getting ready to back a company that will

compete with Elon Musk's Neurrelink.

The F.T. says the company is called Merge Labs and is raising money at $850 million valuations.

I should say a valuation. And the FDA, considering revoking its authorization of Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine for healthy children under the age of five.

Vaccines from Moderna and Novavax are cleared for more limited populations.

And shares of Circle closing higher by 1.3% yesterday, that after the company reported,

a 53% increase in revenue.

But after the closing bell, the company announced a new stock offering of 10 million shares.

The stock now under pressure as a result this morning.

Two million of those shares will be offered by Circle. The remaining eight million will be sold

by stockholders. In details emerging on the upcoming meeting in Alaska between President Trump

and Russian President Vladimir Putin, a White House official telling NBC News that the Friday sit down will take place at joint base, Eldemdorf, Richardson in Anchorage.
