AI startup, anthropic, nearing a deal there is as much as $5 billion in a round of funding that would value the company at $170 billion.

That's according to a Bloomberg report that said that the investment firm, Iconicic capital is leading that round. In meantime, shares of SOFI technologies are following

this after the company announced a $1.5 billion share offering. It plans to use the proceeds

for what they're calling, quote, general corporate purposes. Today's decline coming after the stock

closed 6.6% higher in yesterday's session following earnings

that beat analyst estimates.

Electronic Arts reported better than expected profit in revenue in the most recent quarter

of the gaming company's numbers were boosted in part by the success of its F1 racing game.

EA maintained its full year guidance.

And Adam Sandler's happy Gilmore sequel generated

46.7 million views over three days on Netflix, giving the streamer its biggest opening weekend

ever for an original release. And John Hess, playing to buy back his family's iconic toy truck

business from Chevron next year.

That comes after Chevron completed its acquisition of Hess earlier this month.

Hess also reached a deal related to the trademarks associated with his family's name.
