Alaska Airlines resuming operations overnight after grounding its flights.

For about three hours because of an IT outage,

the airline requested a system-wide ground stop for Alaska and Horizon air flights

around 8 p.m. Pacific time yesterday and lifted the groundstop by 11 p.m. Pacific Alaska did not elaborate on the nature of that

outage, the IT outage. And China's exports of rare earth magnets to the U.S. jumping in June to more

than seven times or level in May, that followed easing of some trade tensions last month. Still, the June level

was about 40% below the same thing the month last year. And Trump administration officials

are reportedly planning to pay a visit to the Federal Reserve amid a probe involving the

renovation of the headquarters. That's according to news website semaphore.

It comes amid speculation that President Trump may be trying to lay the groundwork for firing Fed chair, Jerome Powell.
