Hi, I'm Andrew Ross Sorkin, co-host of Squawk Box, and this is five things to know before today's opening bell.

The price for Warner Brothers Discovery could head higher. Bloomberg now reporting that both Netflix and Paramount Skydance have signaled they have the ability to raise their bids for the media giant.

Separately, longtime media investor, Mary Gabelle telling Bloomberg,

he'll likely tender his clients, Warner Brothers, discovery shares too paramount in an effort to

spark a bidding war for Warner. Meantime, computer memory maker and Vida supplier, S.K. Hynks is

considering now listing its shares in the U.S., in addition to its current stock market home

of South Korea.

The shares jumping on the back of that news close to 4%.

Meantime, Disney nominating former Apple executive, Jeff Williams, to join its board, which

would expand to 11 members.

Williams served as Apple's chief operating officer from 2015 until his retirement earlier this year.

And drug maker, Eli Lilly, is saying it's going to be spending $6 billion to build a manufacturing plant in Alabama.

That's to help increase production of its experimental anti-obesity pill and other drugs.

And European food delivery giant, Hero saying that it's evaluating

his strategic options,

those options include partnerships

for some operations in some countries

and some capital allocation measures

they're now saying as well.
