Hey everybody, welcome back to another episode of the Catholic talk show.

Today we're going to be talking about five things people get wrong about the Pope.

Yeah, we're going to look at the most common misconceptions about the Pope and tell you the truth about the successor of St. Peter.

This show is all about Pope Fiction. Oh, All right, really excited to be back in the studio with you guys. I love this topic. Really

interested in a lot of this stuff, so I like to get started. It's true, there's a lot of this stuff so I like to get started.

It's true there's a there's a lot of misconceptions about the Pope out there and hopefully

this show will be able to dispel all of them.

Yeah I think that's the thing that non-Catholic probably have the most questions about, the most misunderstandings

about because it's really the thing that's maybe most unique among the Christian denominations

that us, the true church has the Pope and that's the thing that really

differentiates us from Protestants right is having that successor of Jesus as

the visible sign of unity in our church.

So we're going to get through all those today and talk about those things that people really

either use to slander the church or really deeply misunderstand about the church.

And I think it would be really important to just start out with scripture right away.

And then we're going to jump into the catechism and like these five leading things, right,

that people definitely get wrong.

So from Matthew 1618 Jesus said to him and replied,

Blessed are you Simon son of Jonah for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you but my heavenly father.

And so I say to you but my Heavenly Father.
