President Donald Trump's second term has been a major story in itself for 2025.

But we're going to break down some of the biggest headlines that have come from the

first year of his second term, starting with...

100%, 50%, 25% of tariffs are all coming in.

It's amazing, and other thing.

The word, remember when I said, tariff?

My favorite word is tariff.

I can't say I share the same enthusiasm for the word tariff, but it certainly dominated any discussion

about the economy last year.

Trump began a global trade war that was sparked after he slapped tariffs on scores of countries.

China, 67%.

We're going to be charging a discounted reciprocal tariff of 34%. European Union.

We're going to charge them 20%.

The two biggest economies in the world, the US and China, were entangled in a chaotic

trade war with tip-for-tat tariffs all year, and at one point in April, topping more than 100%.

The tensions cooled down in October when Trump and Chinese leader Xi Jinping reached a one-year

agreement on tariff rates, rare earth minerals and fentanyl issues.

And how about America's top two trading partners, Mexico and Canada?

Well, they still haven't struck new trade deals with the U.S. yet.
