Summary

How to Do Less and Earn More  Sometimes the fastest way to grow your business isn’t about adding more — it’s about letting go. In this episode, I’m outlining the five specific things I quit that unlocked my path to sustainable seven-figure growth. Each quit felt uncomfortable in the moment, but it was exactly what I needed to step into my CEO role and finally scale with confidence. If you’ve ever felt maxed out, stuck in the weeds, or afraid to let go of something that feels “safe,” this episode will show you what’s possible when you choose to quit with intention. HERE ARE THE 3 KEY TAKEAWAYS FROM THIS EPISODE: 1️⃣ Doing It All Yourself Keeps You Stuck — Growth only happened once I stopped wearing every hat and started leading my team of contractors like a true CEO. 2️⃣ Data > Gut Decisions — Tracking my numbers (instead of avoiding them) gave me the clarity and confidence to simplify my offers and scale smarter. 3️⃣ Repeatable Systems Create Freedom — When I stopped starting from scratch and built repeatable, scalable systems, I gained momentum, peace of mind, and a reputation that fueled my business growth. RESOURCES MENTIONED IN THIS EPISODE: If you're around that $500K mark or even a little bit more, but you haven't yet had your first million dollar year, then I want you to check out The Milly Club. So I want to share with you in today's episode, what are the things that I actually quit to finally scale beyond the seven figures?

16 years ago, when I left my 9 to 5 job to become an entrepreneur, I had this opportunity

0:35.5

to work with Michael Stelzner. He was just starting social media

0:39.7

examiner, which became a hit really quickly, but it hadn't yet launched. And he said, I've got some

0:45.2

things that I could use your help with. If you want to contract a little as you leave your 9 to 5 job,

0:49.7

that would be great. And I did. And I soon became the community manager for the social media examiner

0:56.2

Facebook page. And that was a big deal. That was a really great role because the group blew up really

fast. And I got to meet a bunch of people. I learned how to manage a community. And I was active in there.

So I was kind of building my name up a little bit. I even went to a few

1:12.7

events on behalf of social media examiner and I got to meet tons of online influencers and

1:18.2

people that were creating courses and memberships. And it was just a perfect world for me to be in

1:23.5

right out of my nine to five job. And I really appreciated it. Michael Stelzner was a great mentor.

I learned a lot. And again, I met a lot of great people, which started to open some doors for me.

I also took a contracting job with another company helping them launch their courses. So I was doing a

1:40.2

lot of contractor work. I was a contractor for other people's businesses, alongside of taking

1:45.8

one-on-one clients for social media. And what I realize is if I keep taking these jobs with other

1:52.6

people, I'm never going to fully build out the business that I want. And so I remember the day so

vividly. I remember where I was when I called up Michael

Stelzner and I said, I'm going to need to step down from being the community manager of the

Facebook group. I really need to focus on getting my first digital course up and running our first
